This is a view from the Pacific Crest Trail straight down onto Leavitt Lake. This is steep and scary, and since the wind was howling, I actually crawled on all fours to take this shot.

On the far end of the lake, you can see how a little stream serves as an outlet for the lake. We camped on the right bank of the stream just 200 yards down.

There's trout in the lake and there was somebody in a boat fishing in the lake when we hiked up. I lost him in this picture, though!
